Police Station

We offer legal advice and assistance twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty five days a year. If you are in need of assistance at a police station or representation at an interview under caution, including at council or benefit offices, you will be eligible for free independent legal advice. Magistrates and Youth Court

We are members of three duty solicitor schemes and attend Magistrates Courts on a daily basis, conducting all hearings from first appearances, through to trials and sentences. We undertake both private and public funded (legal aid) work.

We are also available to act as agents on behalf of other solicitors, should they have clients needing representation in the Hertfordshire area.

Crown Court

We undertake all cases in the Crown Court, from murders through to serious fraud cases and have indeed, recently been involved in the high profile defence of a prosecution by the Serious Fraud Office.

We ensure clients are fully advised of the procedure and prepared for their hearings. Furthermore our close ties with many of the leading defence barristers will ensure that only barristers with proven track records are instructed to represent our clients before the Crown Courts.

Court of Appeal

We frequently review the merits of appeals against conviction and sentence and refer matters to the Criminal Case Review Commission. We pursue appeals on behalf of defendants, with the assistance of expert counsel, in order to ensure justice is achieved in every case.
