Mr Francis Domingo
Mr. Francis Domingo is an experienced criminal practitioner of some fourteen years specialising in criminal defence work. Prior to his current position he was a partner at one of the country’s largest legal aid firms, which spurred him on to establish his own practice. Mr Domingo has acquired an extensive knowledge in all stages of the criminal justice system from the arrest or summons of a defendant to their appearance in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.
As a criminal defence solicitor, Mr. Domingo has been an active member of the local duty solicitor schemes in both the police stations and Magistrates' Courts. In his time as a criminal defence specialist he has been a member of various duty schemes in North West London, North East London, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. At present Mr. Domingo is a member of the East Hertfordshire, St Albans, Stevenage and North Hertfordshire duty solicitors’ schemes.
Mr. Domingo’s expertise in all aspects of the criminal justice system has enabled him to ensure all clients he represents have benefited from quality advice and representation throughout their case. Mr. Domingo believes it is the fundamental duty of a criminal defence specialist to ensure an individual’s rights and interests are properly represented and maintained against the interests of the state.
Mr Mark Anthony Whittaker
Mr. Mark Anthony Whittaker is a longstanding criminal practitioner who began working in the criminal defence sector in the early 1990’s. He has obtained extensive experience of proceedings before the Magistrates, Crown and Appeal Courts, having been personally involved in such matters at all levels.
Mr Whittaker was involved in the longest running murder trial in the history of the Central Criminal Court as well as one of the country’s larges ever frauds, both of which resulted in acquittals.
Mr Whittaker specialises in representation before the courts and is available to represent defendants at the Police Station, the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court, having been granted Higher Rights of Audience in the Crown Court. Mr Whittaker is also a member of defence solicitor schemes at both police stations and courts.
Mr Whittaker and Mr Domingo worked together in London, prior to establishing DW Law.
